Obituary - Mrs. Lee Ruckman - Mrs. Maude Beard Ruckman, 65, died Sunday March 20, 1996, at her home in Beard.  Born at Auburn, Culpeper, Virginia on February 23, 1911, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Lee and Nettie Jane Callison Beard.   She was a member of the Marlinton Presbyterian Church and was a director of nurses at the Denmar State Hospital.  Her sister, Mrs. Lucy Fergusan, preceded her in death.  Survivors include her husband, Lee W. Ruckman; one daughter; Mrs. Jane Callison Curry of San Antonio, TX; one granddaughter, Laura Lee Curry; one sister; Mrs. A. W. Covington of Alexandria, Virginia, and one brother, Carl G. Beard of Charleston.   Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon in the Marlinton Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Fred W. Walker.  Burial was in the Mountain View Cemetery at Marlinton.
