| Obituary - Dr. Walter C. Beard, aged 80 years, a son of the late Dr. Samuel Beard died at the house of his brother, Samuel Beard in Lewisburg, Sunday May 28, 1939, after a long illness. Burial in the family plot at the Old Stone Church on Tuesday afternoon. For fifty years Dr. Beard had practiced medicine in Aderra, retiring in 1934. he is survived by his brother, Samuel, and his sister, Mrs. Emma Beard. |
